If you enquire or make a booking with us we will usually collect the following personal information:
• Your name
• Your contact details including postal address, email and telephone numbers
How do we use this information?
We use this information to send you confirmation of a booking that you have made with us, generally by email but alternatively by letter if you prefer.
How is your data stored?
All of the personal data that you supply to us as part of the booking process is stored secured on a third party system, Supercontrol. We share your details with Supercontrol for the purpose of them delivering their online booking service to us. Only users authorised by us have access to this data. Credit or debit card details that you provide are securely handled by a third party card processor, Holiday Rent Payments; all details are masked except for the last four digits of the card number. We NEVER sell your details to any third party.
We would like to stay in touch with you to send information about our holiday cottages, any special offers we may have or local events. We send occasional emails (no more than one per month) to people on our distribution list. The distribution list is managed by a secure third party, Mail Chimp. You may change your preferences at any time.
To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
